Cutey Booty

The Cutey Booty is a successful little startup in Charleston, SC. They produce high-quality, stylish, and functional boxers and bloomers for baby bums (alliteration stolen.)

Cutey Booty hired Engenius to develop their website around their already strong brand. We outfit them with a retail shopping cart system, as well as a wholesale purchase area for their vendors.

Veribu

Veribu: A communication platform.

That modest tagline merely hints at the plethora of cool features available to a Veribu user. Veribu is a social network based on video chat, text messaging, and phone calling -- right from the browser.

We walked the owners through the creative process, and subsequently created the website from scratch. After designing and assembling the site itself, we got a chance to work with some cutting-edge technology as we built the phone calling, text messaging, and video chatting right into the fresh-but-instantly-familiar interface.

Trailer Wars

We love entrepreneurs. The Trailer Wars boys love original films, and they had an excellent idea. What would it look like to take a bunch of original short films, set them against each other, and let visitors to the site pick the best?

We got involved with Trailer Wars in the early idea stages. Then, we took this big idea through brand creation, business strategy, and finally the development of the website that now exposes up-and-coming film stars to a huge audience.

The website also functions as a social network, allowing users to create profiles, communicate with each other, and compete for GOOD prizes.

Prospecting.com

Prospecting.com is a one-stop website that offers targeted marketing lists from almost any demographic. Because they pull from one of the largest prospecting databases, Prospecting.com's clients have access to quality leads that will produce results.

The challenge was to create a very approachable brand while maintaining Prospecting.com's excellent reputation for professionalism and attention to detail. While working within their guidelines of minimal images and a simple color scheme, we created a site based on simple interaction and ease of use.

Tigers Go

Tigers Go was born out of Clemson University in 2005. Since then, they have used a modest budget and an overwhelming passion for people to show love in New Orleans and the upstate of South Carolina.

When we started working with these folks, they already had plenty of stories and photography from their members. Our challenge was to recreate a brand and design a website that both complimented these materials and gave a fresh, professional face to the organization.

The website serves both public marketing and internal communication duties. Built with our content management tools and stuffed with custom programming, the good people of Tigers Go can update site content, add pages & sections, share documents and post events with ease. As a result, the website can change as often and as rapidly as they do.

Intelligent River

The South Carolina Intelligent Rivers and Watersheds initiative is determined to make real changes to the way South Carolina handles their water and environment. They have an impressive set of environmental measurement tools. These tools include everything from spot thermometers to fish trackers to underwater robots, and they are spread all over the state of South Carolina.

We first got involved with these folks when they decided that a web interface was the best medium to make their data available to the world. We took the opportunity to collaborate with the tech team on web strategy, and we designed Drupal-based software to make both their data display and internal communication as simple as possible.
